The main objective of the São Paulo Convention and Visitors Bureau is to promote the city of São Paulo as a tourism destination and particularly as a host for Brazilian and international events such as culture, sports, business, trade fairs, congresses and conventions.

As an organization that brings together a wide range of business leaders, the SPCVB strengthens relationships between all business sectors that directly or indirectly benefit from tourism, and maintains good relations with all government levels.

To attract and generate events for São Paulo, the Bureau supports and provides consulting services to organizations and companies to help them make the necessary contacts for a successful bid for São Paulo to host events and, through these actions, help generate business for our member companies.

The SPCVB also develops marketing campaigns and actions to attract a greater number of visitors, provides technical consulting services for organizations and events promoters to develop project viability studies, and participates in trade fairs, events and congresses to attract events and promote São Paulo as a centre for events and pleasure tourism.
